We had some fun FALCON hoops tonight against Lapeer Lakers. The elementary boys are always a fun game to watch and they play hard til the end. Even though they were in the lead at the end of 1st quarter at 2-0 they ended up falling short by the 2nd quarter and couldn’t make a come back.
The J. H. Boys took the court next with their passion for the game but just couldn’t get a lead.
J. V. Girls went out on the court for their last time this season and gave it their best shoot.

When the varsity boys took the court they fell behind at 9-14 at the end of the 1st quarter. They showed up in the 2nd quarter with a surge of smart team basketball and tremendous effort that gave them 21 points and a lead of 30-23 at intermission. By the end of 3rd quarter they sank 17 more points to take them to a lead of 47-34. Fourth quarter they put up 9 more that earned them the win over the Lapeer Lakers. Final score 56-49

Don’t forget that this weekend the J. H. Boys and the Varsity boys go to State Tournaments. We would LOVE to have any and all our FALCON Fans join us but if you can’t PLEASE pray for the refs, the coaches and the players.
